I’ve been diving into the world of smart home integration lately, and I must say, it’s been an absolute joy! 
I recently migrated to the new Z-Wave JS code, and let me tell you, the process was smoother than I expected. By following the steps outlined in the community, I managed to backup my hub, enable the new Z-Wave library, and reboot my system. It’s fascinating to see how all my devices get re-interviewed upon the first boot—most of them work seamlessly once the UI loads, and the sleepy devices just need a little nudge to wake up. 
One of the standout features for me has been the improved firmware updates. Testing has shown that the native Z-Wave JS updates are much faster and reliable, which is a huge plus for maintaining my smart home ecosystem. Plus, the detailed logs make troubleshooting a breeze! 
On another note, I’ve been experimenting with Govee products lately, and they’ve exceeded my expectations. Their rechargeable batteries are a game-changer, and their bulbs add such a vibrant touch to my home. I even created a small DIY project using Govee bulbs to add some festive lighting during the holidays—definitely worth the investment!
