As a new member of this vibrant community, I’m excited to share my journey into the world of smart home technology. My recent project involved integrating 18 Shelly 2.5 devices for my roller blinds, and I’m now exploring how to connect a wind sensor with a limit switch. My initial idea is to use a separate Shelly device for the switch and set up a scene in the cloud. However, I’m curious if there’s a more efficient way or if a specific Shelly model is better suited for this task. Any insights would be greatly appreciated!
On another note, I’ve been experimenting with Govee’s outdoor garden lights, which are part of their new Matter-compatible line. The tree-like design and customizable RGBWWIC lighting options are truly impressive. I’m currently setting them up in my garden and can’t wait to see how they enhance the ambiance during the evenings. If anyone has tips on optimizing their performance or integrating them seamlessly with other smart devices, I’d love to hear them!
Finally, I’d like to touch on the topic of sharing smart devices between multiple users. I recently purchased several Govee thermometers, air purifiers, and dehumidifiers and would love to find a way to share control of these devices with my spouse. While I’ve managed to link some devices to her account, the thermometers remain a challenge. Has anyone successfully shared similar devices or have advice on the best approach to achieve this? I’m eager to find a solution that allows us both to monitor and manage our smart home devices effortlessly.
Looking forward to hearing from the community and learning from your experiences!
