Exploring Smart Home Integration: Lightwave Hub & SmartThings

Hi all! I’m diving into the world of smart home automation and wanted to share my experiences and questions with the community. Setting up a smart home can be both exciting and overwhelming, especially when trying to integrate different systems like Lightwave and SmartThings. :star2:

I recently purchased the Lightwave L21 Smart Series Dimmer and am curious about compatibility. Does anyone have firsthand experience using this dimmer alongside the SmartThings hub? I’d love to avoid buying a separate Lightwave hub if possible, as I’m already invested in the SmartThings ecosystem.

Another question I have is about the SmartThings hub generations. I’m considering upgrading from the 2nd to the 3rd generation, but I’m unsure about the differences. Specifically, I’d like to use an Ethernet cable instead of Wi-Fi for more stable connectivity. Does the 3rd generation support this? :computer:

On a lighter note, I’ve been experimenting with creating a seamless lighting experience. The idea of controlling my lights through voice commands or even a remote from the comfort of my couch is something I’m really looking forward to! :couch_and_lamp::sparkles:

If anyone has tips or recommendations on setting up a smooth integration between Lightwave and SmartThings, I’d be grateful for the advice! Let’s make this smart home project a success! :rocket:
