Hello everyone, I’m excited to share my journey with integrating Xiaomi Mija LYWSD03MMC-z sensors into my smart home setup. These little devices have been a game-changer for monitoring temperature and humidity in different areas of my home. However, I recently encountered an interesting challenge while trying to update their firmware through Home Assistant (HA). The update option appeared in HA, but clicking ‘UPDATE’ didn’t trigger any changes. I found this puzzling since these are BLE sensors that I had previously reflashed to work on Zigbee and integrated into Zigbee2MQTT. I’m curious if anyone else has experienced this behavior or managed to successfully install updates for these sensors. If so, I’d love to hear your insights or troubleshooting steps.
