Another area I’ve been experimenting with is integrating data from my Flukso sensors into OpenHAB. I’ve come across some basic documentation, but I’m not entirely sure which binding to use or how to configure the items and sitemap properly. I’ve tried using the MQTT binding, but I’m not getting the expected results. If anyone has a working example or could walk me through the setup, that would be incredibly helpful!
On a more positive note, I recently came across a new product that’s got me really excited—the Hubitat C7 with S2 security. It seems like a game-changer for Z-Wave users, especially with its support for S2 encryption. I’ve been trying to pair some of my S2-enabled devices, but I’ve run into a few issues during the process. The pairing seems to get stuck, and I end up having to manually discover the devices. Has anyone else experienced this, and if so, how did you work around it?
Lastly, I’ve been thinking about the future of voice control in smart homes. With the latest updates to Alexa and Google Assistant, it’s clear that voice integration is becoming more sophisticated. I’m curious to hear how others are leveraging voice commands to enhance their home automation setups. Are there any particular routines or integrations that have blown your mind recently?
