As someone who’s been diving into this space for a while now, I’ve encountered a few bumps along the way, but also some fantastic solutions that I’d love to share with you all.First off, I’ve been experimenting with the RCWL-0516 microwave motion sensor, and I have to say, it’s been a game-changer for my setup. The reliability and accuracy of this sensor have exceeded my expectations, especially its ability to detect motion through walls and glass without too much interference. I’ve been using it in conjunction with my Esp2866 board, and the results have been nothing short of impressive. It’s definitely a cost-effective solution that I’d recommend to anyone looking to enhance their home security or automation systems.On the other hand, I’ve also been dealing with some quirks with my Wyze air purifier. The AQI and graph updates haven’t been as reliable as I’d hoped, which is a bit frustrating. However, I’ve discovered that unplugging and replugging the device seems to kickstart the updates, at least temporarily. I’ve reached out to Wyze support, but their response was a bit lackluster. If anyone out there has found a more permanent fix, I’d be thrilled to hear about it!Another area I’ve been exploring is the integration of smart thermostats. For those of you who might be in the market for a new heating system, I’ve come across some fantastic Zigbee-compatible options that integrate seamlessly with Home Assistant. It’s been a bit of a learning curve, but the convenience and energy savings are well worth the effort.I’d love to hear from others about their experiences with similar devices or any innovative solutions they’ve come across.
