Hi everyone, I’m really excited to share my recent project and get some feedback from the community. I’ve been working on integrating smart irrigation with weather data to create a more efficient and eco-friendly watering system for my garden.
I recently installed some RGBW LED strips along the walls of my historic home, and I’m using them to create ambient lighting that adjusts based on the time of day and the natural light in the room. The idea is to mimic the circadian rhythm, making the lighting warmer in the evening and cooler during the day. While I’m still learning the ropes with LUA scripting, I’ve managed to set up some basic automations that I’m really happy with.
For the irrigation part, I’m looking into using a Fibaro wall plug to control the watering system. I’ve heard great things about Fibaro devices, but I’m still experimenting with the best way to integrate everything. I’m also exploring the possibility of using a smart irrigation system that can adjust watering schedules based on real-time weather data from my local weather station.
I’d love to hear from anyone who has experience with similar setups. Do you have any tips or resources that could help me refine my project? I’m especially interested in learning more about how others have successfully integrated weather data with smart irrigation systems.
Thanks in advance for your insights and suggestions! Let’s keep the conversation flowing and help each other create smarter, greener homes.
