Hi everyone, I’m diving into the world of smart irrigation automation and I’m a bit overwhelmed by all the options out there. I’m looking for a very basic setup—something like three sprinklers, each running for 20 minutes, three times a week. No need for weather integration or brand-specific controllers. I just want a simple, reliable system that I can set up and forget about, mostly using schedules.I currently have my sprinklers hooked up to hoses and water outlets, but I need to add valves and some kind of control module. I’ve been considering Z-Wave or Zigbee dry contacts to supply 24V AC to the valves, controlled by a schedule in my smart home ecosystem. But I’m not sure if there are existing Z-Wave or Zigbee valves that integrate seamlessly with Home Assistant. I’ve done some research, but haven’t found anything concrete yet.Has anyone here tackled a similar project? Any advice or recommendations on valves, modules, or integration strategies would be incredibly helpful. I’m also curious if there are any off-the-shelf solutions that might simplify this process. Thanks in advance for your insights and suggestions!
