Hey everyone! I’ve recently embarked on a fun project with my Govee RGB car lights and a 15m RGB light strip, and I wanted to share my experience and thoughts with you all. It’s amazing how versatile these lights can be, even if you don’t own a car!
I received these as part of a mystery box from Govee during their Prime Day livestream, and initially, I was a bit puzzled about what to do with them since I don’t have my own vehicle. After some brainstorming, I came up with a few creative ideas. One thought was to install the car lights on my bookshelf, illuminating the books from above with vibrant colors. Another idea was to place them under my desk to add some personality to my workspace, especially since I’ve been working from home a lot lately.
I decided to start simple and set up the light strip under my desk. It’s been a great addition, not only for aesthetics but also for creating a more dynamic work environment. The RGB car lights, however, are still waiting for their perfect spot. I’ve considered using them in my living room as accent lighting or even integrating them into a DIY project, like a custom shelving unit.
