I’ve been diving into the world of smart lighting automation lately, and I wanted to share my experience with the community. I recently set up a NeoPixelBus light strip using ESPHome, and it’s been an incredible journey of discovery and experimentation. One of the features I’m most excited about is the ability to cycle through different light effects using a rotary encoder button. I’ve configured my setup to trigger effects like ‘Rainbow’, ‘Fireworks’, and ‘Twinkle’ with double clicks. However, I’m still working on perfecting the automation to cycle through all available effects seamlessly. It’s a bit challenging, but the potential for creative lighting scenarios is endless!
