Hi everyone, I’m really excited to share my recent experience with setting up smart lighting automation using Fibaro devices. I’ve been experimenting with integrating my Fibaro motion sensor with a lightwave dimmer to create a night light system for my little one. The idea is to automatically turn on the landing lights when motion is detected, providing a gentle glow for those late-night trips.
It all started when I noticed how much easier it would be if the lights only came on when we put our child to bed. So, I decided to create an Alexa routine to trigger the automation. However, I ran into a small issue— the flow only triggered once and didn’t stay active until dawn. After some research and tweaking, I found a solution by adjusting the flow settings to ensure it remains active until the desired time.
I’d love to hear how others have set up similar systems or if there are any tips for making this even more seamless. It’s been such a game-changer for our nighttime routine, and I’m eager to explore more ways to enhance our smart home setup!
