I’ve been diving into the world of smart lighting, and I must say, the possibilities are truly endless! Recently, I’ve been experimenting with my Govee neon lights, specifically a 10ft model installed in my bathroom. It’s paired with a motion sensor, which automatically turns the light on when I walk in. While the setup works perfectly, I’ve been itching to add a bit more flair to the experience.
My idea is to have the light start at one end and gradually build up to the other, creating a dynamic ‘powering up’ effect before settling into a solid glow. I’ve tinkered with DIY solutions and explored cycling effects, but nothing quite hits the mark. The stack effect comes close, but I can’t seem to adjust the speed or lock it once it reaches the end.
I’m curious if anyone has successfully achieved a similar effect or has any tips on how to tweak the settings to make this happen. It would be amazing to add this touch of creativity to my home setup! ![]()
