First off, I’ve been using Govee lights for a while now, and they’ve been fantastic. The RGB Red + White Fade feature has really added a nice touch to my living room, especially during the holidays. However, I’ve been curious about integrating these lights more seamlessly with my existing setup. Does anyone have experience syncing Govee lights with live sports scores or other real-time events? I came across LumeAlert, which seems promising, but I’d love to hear if anyone here has tried it.
On another note, I’ve been experimenting with firmware updates on my devices. I upgraded my OpenHAB system recently, and while most things worked smoothly, I did run into an issue with my IKEA blinds. The DOWN command stopped working after the update, and I’ve been troubleshooting it for a while. I tried different firmware versions, but the problem persists. Has anyone else encountered this, and if so, how did you resolve it? Any insights would be greatly appreciated!
I also wanted to touch on the topic of device compatibility. I’ve been looking into adding motion and vibration sensors to my setup, and I’m really excited about the possibilities they bring. However, I’m a bit concerned about their reliability and integration with voice assistants like Alexa. If anyone has experience with these sensors, I’d love to hear about your setup and any tips you might have.
