I’ve been diving into the world of smart lighting lately, and it’s been a fascinating journey! 
I recently purchased a set of RGB LED strips and a smart hub to control them, and I’m thrilled with the possibilities they bring to my home. However, I’ve hit a bit of a snag when it comes to integrating everything seamlessly. Let me share my experience and see if anyone has tips or insights to offer! 
First off, the setup itself was a breeze. I followed a tutorial to connect the LED strips to my Raspberry Pi using a simple GPIO setup. The initial configuration was straightforward, and I could control the lights through a basic web interface. But here’s where things got a bit tricky: integrating everything into my existing Home Assistant setup. 
I wanted to create a fully automated system where the lights change color based on the time of day, my mood, or even my calendar events. I’ve been experimenting with creating custom scenes and automations, but I’m not entirely sure if I’m on the right track. For instance, I set up a scene where the lights turn red during movie nights, but I’d love to take it a step further by syncing the color changes with the audio from my speakers. 
Does anyone have experience with audio-reactive lighting or know of any integrations that could help achieve this?
Another challenge I’ve encountered is ensuring consistent performance across all devices. Some lights flicker occasionally, and I’m not sure if it’s a hardware issue or something related to the firmware. I’ve tried updating everything to the latest versions, but the problem persists.
