I recently installed four Tasmota-driven RGB light bulbs in my backyard, and I must say, they’ve transformed the space beautifully!
Using Tasmota 8.5.0 alongside the MQTT integration, I’ve been able to enjoy the flexibility and precision these bulbs offer. However, I’ve encountered a minor hiccup—while the bulbs function perfectly through their web interfaces, I can’t seem to adjust the color or saturation settings directly through Home Assistant. In Lovelace, I only see a toggle switch and a brightness slider. Is there a specific configuration I need to set up to enable more comprehensive control?
I’m also intrigued by the idea of creating a ‘meta’ light setup that abstracts these four bulbs into a single entity. This would allow me to control them uniformly, which is ideal for my backyard lighting needs. I’m curious if this is a straightforward process or if it requires more advanced scripting.
If anyone has experience with similar setups or insights on how to enhance my current configuration, I’d be thrilled to hear your thoughts!
Let’s make these lights shine brighter together!
