The Wyze applet I created wasn’t functioning as expected, and the settings kept showing “options unavailable.” This was frustrating, as IFTTT was my go-to for connecting devices. After some research, I discovered that using Alexa integration could bypass this problem. It wasn’t my first choice, but it worked seamlessly!
Later, I decided to expand my setup with some Govee bulbs, which I found during a recent deal. The Govee H6113 bulbs were perfect for adding a pop of color to my living room. Pairing them with my existing smart devices was a breeze, and the app provided a user-friendly interface for customizing scenes and schedules.
One of the highlights of this project was creating a morning routine. Using Alexa, I programmed the lights to gradually brighten at 6:30 AM, mimicking a sunrise. It’s a small touch, but it genuinely improves my mornings. I also integrated motion sensors to ensure the lights come on automatically when I enter a room, adding both convenience and energy efficiency.
