Exploring Smart Lighting Solutions with Shelly and Nuki

Hi everyone, I’ve been diving into the world of smart lighting and home automation lately, and I wanted to share some of my experiences and tips with you all.

I recently set up a few Shelly devices in my home, including the Shelly 2.5 and Shelly Plus 1. The Shelly 2.5 has been a game-changer for controlling my outdoor lights. It’s incredibly easy to integrate with my existing smart home setup, and the ability to schedule lights automatically has been a huge convenience. However, I did run into a bit of a snag with the power measurement feature. Initially, it wasn’t working as expected, but after some research and reaching out to the community, I found that resetting the device and ensuring proper wiring were the keys to getting it up and running smoothly.

On the other hand, the Shelly Plus 1 has been a bit of a puzzle. I wanted to control multiple devices with a single command through Alexa, but it wasn’t quite cooperating. After some trial and error, I discovered that creating scenes in the Shelly Cloud app and linking them with Alexa routines was the solution. It’s a bit of a workaround, but it works perfectly now!

I also wanted to touch on the integration of Nuki locks with my KNX system using the Enertex EibPC2. It’s been fascinating to see how seamlessly these devices can work together. From automatic unlocking to integrating Nuki sensors into my alarm system, the possibilities are endless. It’s definitely a setup that enhances both convenience and security.

For anyone looking to explore smart lighting or automation, I’d recommend starting small and gradually expanding. Don’t hesitate to reach out to the community for advice—it’s a wealth of knowledge and support. Happy automating! :rocket:
