As a Belgian user, I’ve been forced to transition to a smart meter, which I generally don’t have a huge issue with since I’m all about data. However, I’ve encountered a bit of a snag. While I could technically purchase a P1 device to connect to my smart energy meter, the meter room doesn’t have any WiFi, making it impossible to use Homewizard. My house is quite far from the meter room, and running a UTP cable isn’t an option either. I’m curious if anyone has alternative ideas for measuring my energy consumption. It doesn’t even need to be real-time data. Fluvius has an API, but it’s not open, so that’s out of the question. I’ve thought about using CT clamps, but I’m not an electrician, so I’m a bit hesitant to dive into that. Any suggestions or ideas would be greatly appreciated!
