Exploring Smart Sensor Integration and Zigbee Network Optimization

Hey everyone, I’ve been diving into the world of smart sensors and Zigbee networks lately, and I wanted to share some of my experiences and tips with you all. :rocket:

First off, I’ve been experimenting with the MOES Temperature & Humidity Sensor. It’s been a fantastic addition to my setup, but I did run into a little hiccup with the battery level display. Initially, I had to use a quirk to get it working, but the battery levels were showing up incorrectly—100% on the sensor and only 4% in Home Assistant. After some research, I found that deleting the quirk and letting HA auto-discover the sensor fixed the issue! :tada:

Another area I’ve been exploring is optimizing my Zigbee network. If you’re like me and have a growing list of devices, you might have encountered some connectivity issues. I stumbled upon a helpful guide that suggested adjusting the channel list in the Zigbee2MQTT configuration. Changing the channel from 20 to 11 made a world of difference—my devices are now connecting more reliably! :globe_with_meridians:

I’d also love to hear from anyone who’s successfully integrated multiple brands into their setup. I’m looking to expand my system with some Reolink cameras and Shelly switches, but I’m a bit nervous about potential compatibility issues. Any tips or success stories would be greatly appreciated! :handshake:

Lastly, I wanted to give a shoutout to the amazing community here. Every time I hit a snag, someone’s advice or workaround has come to the rescue. Keep up the incredible support! :raised_hands:

Looking forward to your thoughts and experiences! Let’s keep learning and improving our smart homes together. :rocket:
