Exploring SmartHome Automation with Wyze and Govee

I’ve been diving into the world of smart home automation over the past few months, and it’s been an incredible journey! :rocket: I started with Wyze cameras and sensors, and I must say, they’ve exceeded my expectations. The video quality is fantastic, and the motion detection is spot on. However, I’ve been trying to set up an IFTTT applet to trigger my Wyze bulbs when a contact sensor is activated, but the delays have been quite frustrating. Sometimes it takes minutes or even hours for the trigger to work, which defeats the purpose of real-time automation. I wonder if others have experienced similar issues or found a workaround. :thinking:On the other hand, my Govee lights have been a game-changer! The color accuracy and brightness are amazing, and the app controls are so user-friendly. I’ve experimented with different scenes and music modes, and it’s been so much fun to customize my space. I’m thinking of trying out the Govee outdoor projectors next—they seem perfect for those cozy nights under the stars! :star2:I’d love to hear from others who’ve integrated multiple brands into their smart homes. How do you handle compatibility and delays? Any tips or tricks would be greatly appreciated! :raised_hands:
