Exploring SmartThings Camera and Sensor Battery Options

Hi everyone, I’m curious about the battery life and maintenance of the Samsung SmartThings camera and multifunction sensors. I currently use a mix of Aeotec multifunction sensors (which include IR cameras) alongside the SmartThings IR camera and multifunction sensor. The Aeotec sensors are great because they can be powered by batteries (not included when sold) or via USB, offering flexibility. However, the SmartThings units are purely battery-powered, with the batteries included and pre-installed when sold. I’m wondering if Samsung expects users like me to replace the entire unit when the batteries inevitably run out. This would be a bit inconvenient, especially for hard-to-reach sensors. Has anyone else encountered this issue or found a workaround? I’d love to hear your experiences and tips!
