Hello, I’ve been exploring the SmartThings Multi Sensor and its vibration detection capabilities. Recently, I noticed that the vibration sensitivity seemed to decrease after a transition or update. It used to detect door knocks effortlessly, but now I have to slam the sensor directly to register any vibration. Has anyone else experienced this, and do you know of any workarounds or settings adjustments that could help restore its sensitivity? I’d love to hear your insights or any troubleshooting steps you might suggest.
On a different note, I’ve been diving into MQTT integration with my OpenHAB setup. I’ve managed to connect some basic sensors, but I’m struggling with more complex configurations. For instance, I have a temperature sensor that publishes data to a MQTT broker, but I’m having trouble mapping this data correctly within OpenHAB. Any tips or best practices for handling MQTT data within OpenHAB would be greatly appreciated!
Lastly, I’ve been experimenting with custom widgets to better visualize my home automation setup. While I’ve had some success, I’m running into layout issues with padding and alignment. It’s frustrating because the functionality works, but the presentation isn’t polished. If anyone has tips for fine-tuning widget layouts or removing unwanted padding, I’d be thrilled to hear them!
Thanks for your help, and happy automating!
