I recently purchased a set of SmartWares devices, including a smoke detector, water sensor, and E27 LED lamp. Initially, I was thrilled with how seamlessly they worked with the ‘ThuisVeilig’ app. However, my excitement turned into curiosity when I tried integrating these devices with Homey. I discovered that SmartWares uses a separate base station, creating its own ecosystem that doesn’t easily integrate with Homey. I experimented with various apps and settings, but nothing seemed to work. The journey was a bit frustrating, but it taught me a lot about device compatibility and the importance of checking ecosystem integrations before purchasing. I’m now looking forward to finding a workaround or alternative solutions to fully leverage these devices within my Homey setup. Any tips or experiences from others would be greatly appreciated!
