I’ve recently set up a solar panel system with a Sungrow SG5.0RT inverter and I’m excited to share my journey of integrating it with Home Assistant using Modbus. While I’ve successfully read daily output energy and internal temperature, I’m still puzzled about why the total output energy isn’t showing up. It would be fantastic to get some insights from the community on this!
Another thing I’m curious about is accessing the load power data from address 13007, which I can see in the iSolarCloud app and directly on the WiNet-S. If anyone has experience with this, I’d love to hear how they tackled it.
On a different note, I’ve been exploring the use of Aqara smart switches and have found them to be incredibly reliable. Setting up rules for single, double, and hold clicks has been a breeze, though I’m still working on minimizing the delay between button presses and actions. If anyone has tips on optimizing rule performance, I’d be grateful!
This journey into solar energy and smart home automation has been both challenging and rewarding. It’s amazing to see how technology can help us monitor and optimize our energy usage. I look forward to hearing your experiences and tips!
