I’ve been really excited about experimenting with my two new Wyze V2 cameras. I recently set them up about 6 inches apart, positioned sideways, and aimed them out my front window. The goal was to see if I could achieve a stereo vision effect, similar to how our eyes work.
At first, it was a bit tricky to get the positioning just right. But after some trial and error, I found that crossing my eyes slightly allowed me to perceive a third, central image. This middle image is where the stereo effect really comes through!
Using the TinyCam app, I’ve been able to stream 3D video, which has been fascinating. It’s like having a mini IMAX experience right from my living room. I’ve attached a couple of images below to give you a sense of the setup and the results.
I’d love to hear if anyone else has tried something similar or has tips for enhancing the stereo effect. It’s been a fun project and a great way to get more out of these cameras!
