As I get older, I sometimes mix up the names of my devices, which can be frustrating, especially when trying to control them with Alexa. For example, I have a device called garden speakers, but I often refer to them as outdoor speakers. I was wondering if there’s a built-in way to assign multiple names to a single device so that Alexa can still recognize it even if I call it by a different name.
I’ve tried searching through the Alexa app settings, but I couldn’t find an option for adding aliases or secondary names. Maybe there’s a workaround or a feature request I can look into? If anyone has experience with this or knows of a clever solution, I’d love to hear about it!
