I wanted to share my excitement about a new addition to my smart home setup—the Govee Egg Night Light! 
I’ve been exploring various smart home gadgets, and this one has quickly become a favorite for its unique features and versatility.
The Govee Egg Night Light isn’t just a nightlight; it’s a whole package of fun and functionality. The built-in speaker is a delightful surprise—perfect for playing some music in the bedroom or bathroom without needing a separate speaker system. 
While it might not rival my HomePod in sound quality, it’s more than enough for casual listening and adds a cozy vibe to the room.
Another feature I absolutely love is the game section. It’s such a fun way to unwind after a long day, and it’s great for bonding with family and friends. It’s surprising how much joy a simple game can bring! 
Plus, its Easter-friendly design makes it a perfect addition to my seasonal decor. Imagine it glowing softly in an Easter basket setup—total aesthetic goals!
Aesthetically, it complements my existing setup beautifully. I placed it next to my Govee Table Lamp 2, creating a nice dynamic height contrast. However, it’s pretty bright, so I made sure to position it where it adds just the right amount of glow without being overwhelming. 
Now, for the one thing that made me go, “Hmm, maybe it needs some tweaking”—the DIY mode. I tried creating my iconic lava effect, but it didn’t quite turn out as expected. 
Unlike my Table Lamp 2, it doesn’t handle intricate effects as well. So, if you’re a DIY light designer, just know that this egg is more of a freestyle painter than a precision artist. But hey, that’s part of its charm, right? 
Final thoughts? Despite the minor DIY limitation, the Govee Egg Night Light is adorable, fun, and full of personality. Whether you want a cozy nightlight, a small but fun speaker, or just an aesthetic egg to brighten up your space, this is a fantastic pick! Plus, if you love Govee products as much as I do, this is a cute addition to any setup. Would I recommend it? Absolutely!
