The Govee Floor Lamp Pro (model H6079) has quickly become a favorite in my home, offering both functionality and style. I wanted to share a feature that I find particularly innovative: the ability to control both the base and the lamp separately.
By adjusting settings in the Govee app, I can choose to have just the base lit, just the lamp, or both. This feature adds a layer of customization that I hadn’t expected. For instance, during the day, I often keep the base on for subtle ambient lighting, while the lamp provides task lighting when needed.
The app interface makes this adjustment seamless. I circled the relevant section in the app screenshot to show how easy it is to toggle between the different lighting modes. The lamp operates at 79% brightness in the photo, which is more than sufficient to illuminate the room evenly.
One thing I hope Govee considers for future updates is a way to save these custom settings directly in the app, so they aren’t lost if the app is closed or restarted. Overall, the Govee Floor Lamp Pro has exceeded my expectations, blending modern design with smart functionality.
