As I continue to expand my smart home setup, I’ve been particularly impressed by the seamless integration of Govee and Shelly devices. Both brands have brought a new level of convenience and customization to my daily life.
One of my favorite Govee products is the Smart Outlet Extension. Its thoughtful design, with grounded outlets and USB ports, has been a game-changer for organizing my electronics. I especially love how it allows me to control devices individually through timers or voice commands. The only minor downside is that it works best with standard outlets, but that’s a minor trade-off for its versatility.
On the Shelly front, I’ve been exploring their new Z-Wave offerings, particularly the Shelly Wave 1 PM. It’s fantastic to see more 868 MHz options becoming available in Europe, and this device has been a reliable addition to my network. I’ve been using it to automate my lighting system, and the integration with my existing Zigbee setup has been smooth.
I’d love to hear from others who have combined Govee and Shelly devices in their homes. What tips or tricks have you discovered? Have you encountered any unique challenges or successes? Let’s share our experiences and continue to enhance our smart home setups together!
