Hi everyone, I’ve been diving into the world of smart lighting lately, and I’m really excited to share my experiences and ask for some advice. I’ve got a bunch of RGB LED strips around my house, but they’re not addressable, which is a bit of a hurdle. I’ve heard that ESPHome and WLED are great for controlling LEDs, but I’m not entirely sure how to make them work with my 12V strips. I’ve read that WLED primarily works with addressable LEDs, so I’m curious if there’s a workaround or another approach I can take to integrate these strips into my Home Assistant setup. I’ve also come across some mentions of using ESPHome for more custom solutions, but I’m not very tech-savvy, so I’m hoping for some guidance. If anyone has successfully done something similar or has tips on how to get started, I’d be thrilled to hear from you!
