I’ve been really impressed with my smart radiator thermostats during the colder months, but I can’t help but wonder how they could be even more useful during the summer. For instance, on those hot days when we keep our windows closed to prevent the house from overheating, it would be amazing if the thermostat could notify us when it’s cooler outside than inside. This would be the perfect time to open the windows and let some fresh air in without wasting energy.
The built-in thermometer in these devices seems like it could easily make this happen. It would be such a convenient feature, especially for those of us who want to be more mindful of energy usage. I hope the manufacturers are considering this kind of functionality in future updates. In the meantime, I’ll keep enjoying the precision and convenience these thermostats offer year-round! ![]()
