I’ve been absolutely thrilled with my Wyze Cam V1! As a birdwatcher, I’ve been using it to monitor the bird feeder in my backyard, and it’s been a fantastic experience. The camera’s motion detection and sound recording features have allowed me to capture some truly amazing moments, like when a group of bluejays took over the feeder earlier this week. 
However, I’ve noticed that the camera occasionally misses some motion events, especially in low-light conditions. I’d love to hear if anyone has tips on optimizing the camera’s sensitivity or adjusting the detection zones to ensure I don’t miss any of these precious moments. The ability to review recordings and set up custom alerts has been incredibly helpful, but I’m curious if there’s a way to refine the detection even further.
One feature I’d love to see in future updates is a smarter way to handle intermittent lighting changes. For example, when the sun moves behind a tree, the camera sometimes misinterprets the change in light as motion. It would be amazing if the camera could learn the baseline lighting conditions and adjust its detection accordingly. I’m also wondering if there’s a way to set up a memory of lighting patterns over time to reduce false positives.
Overall, I’m incredibly satisfied with the Wyze Cam V1. It’s been a fantastic tool for observing wildlife, and I’m excited to see how it continues to evolve. If anyone has tips or tricks for getting the most out of their Wyze Cam, I’d love to hear them!
