I recently purchased the Wyze Duo Cam Doorbell, and I must say, the feature set is exactly what I was looking for in a wired doorbell. The integration with my existing Wyze ecosystem has been seamless, and the video quality is impressive. However, there’s one thing that’s been on my mind—its size. The unit is a bit bulky, and I was hoping for a more compact design, especially since I’m replacing my Nest doorbell. I attempted to use it as a battery-powered option, but the battery life was disappointing, lasting only a few days instead of the advertised 3-6 months. While I appreciate the features, I’m really hoping Wyze considers releasing a version without the battery compartment in the future. This would allow for a much sleeker design and make it a perfect fit for my home. Overall, I’m happy with the Wyze Duo Cam Doorbell, but I’m excited to see how Wyze can improve it further. If anyone has tips or experiences to share, I’d love to hear them!
