Hey everyone, I’ve been diving into the world of smart plugs and energy monitoring, and I wanted to share my experiences with the TP-Link HS110. While I’ve been impressed with its ability to track energy consumption, I’ve noticed something interesting: some devices show energy usage in bars, while others just display a straight line. For example, my dehumidifier and freezer clearly show when they turn on and off, but my refrigerator doesn’t. It’s just a flat line, even though the numerical data updates. Does anyone else experience this? I’m curious if it’s related to how the devices report power consumption or if there’s a setting I’m missing.
I’ve also been experimenting with different configurations to see if I can get consistent bar graphs for all my devices. It would be so helpful for visualizing energy patterns and identifying any unusual spikes. If anyone has tips or insights on this, I’d love to hear them!
On a positive note, the HS110 has been a great addition to my setup. It’s made me more aware of my energy usage, and the numerical data alone has been a huge help. I’m just excited to see if I can get those bar graphs working consistently for all my devices.
If anyone has similar experiences or solutions, please share! I’d love to learn more about how others are leveraging these smart plugs for energy monitoring. Happy tinkering! ![]()
