Exploring Tuya RP280 as a ZigBee Repeater for Network Expansion

I’m currently exploring ways to expand my ZigBee network and stumbled upon the Tuya RP280 USB Range Extender. My goal is to install small repeaters behind sockets and light fittings, but most recommended devices are either plugs or bulbs, which don’t fit my setup. I have a single-story bungalow with accessible loft space, so I thought of running a two-wire ‘5v Bus’ powered by a 5v DC source, connecting USB A sockets for the RP280s. For areas without loft access, I considered using a 240vAC to 5vDC converter behind sockets or switches. However, I’m concerned about potential network stability issues and whether the RP280 might cause problems with non-Tuya devices. Has anyone successfully used the RP280 in a similar setup? Any insights or experiences would be greatly appreciated!
