I recently decided to cancel my Vivint service, and while the cancellation was effective at the beginning of this month, I noticed that my system is still operational. This surprised me, as I assumed all services would be immediately disconnected. I reached out to Vivint support, and they mentioned that the monitoring service typically takes a few days to fully shut down. In the meantime, I’ve been exploring Surety as my new security provider, and I’m excited about their features and reliability. I plan to transition once Vivint confirms the complete disconnection.
