I recently set up my Wyze Cam Outdoor and Base Station, and overall, it’s been a great experience! The connection from the Cam to the Base Station is strong, and notifications are almost instantaneous. However, I noticed an unexpected WiFi spot in my house labeled as WYZE_##########. I’m assuming this is from the Base Station since it’s wired to my mesh network. I’d love to know if there’s a way to hide this SSID or make it more secure. Has anyone else encountered this and found a solution?
On another note, I’ve been dealing with some Zigbee network issues. After upgrading my system, my Zigbee devices started showing as offline periodically. I’ve tried resetting the network and reconfiguring the devices, but the problem persists. It’s frustrating because the Aeotec MS-6 sensor keeps going offline, and I rely on it for motion detection. Does anyone have tips or tricks to stabilize a Zigbee network after an upgrade?
I’d also love to hear if others have experienced similar issues and how they resolved them. Open to any suggestions or best practices for maintaining a reliable Zigbee setup. Thanks in advance for your insights!
