Hi everyone, I’m reaching out to see if anyone has encountered and resolved the issue I’m facing with the Wyze Cam Pan firmware update. I’ve successfully updated my Wyze Cam V2 using the demo.bin file, but when attempting the same process with the Pan model, it doesn’t seem to take effect. Despite following the same steps—placing the correct demo.bin on a 32GB microSD card, powering on the camera while holding the setup button, and waiting for the blue light—the firmware remains unchanged. The camera is accessible via the app, but the firmware version hasn’t updated. I’ve tried using both the RTSP firmware and an older version of the regular firmware, but neither has worked. This is quite frustrating, especially since the process worked seamlessly for the V2 model. I’m wondering if there’s something specific I’m missing in the setup for the Pan model. Any insights or alternative methods would be greatly appreciated!
