Hey everyone, I just got myself some Wyze Outdoor Cameras and the base station, and I’m trying to wrap my head around whether I need SD cards for each camera or just the base station. I’ve been playing around with one camera and the app, and it seems like motion detection alerts and video recording are working without any SD cards. But I’m not entirely sure if this is just a trial period or if it’s free forever. Does anyone have experience with this setup? I’d love to hear your insights on the benefits of using SD cards versus relying solely on the cloud. Also, how does the recording retention work? Is it limited to a certain number of days, or does it keep everything until I manually delete it? I’m really excited to get this system up and running, but I want to make sure I’m making the right decision about storage options. Thanks in advance for your help!
