Exploring Wyze Plug Connectivity and Sonoff Integration

Hi everyone, I’ve been diving into the world of smart home devices lately and wanted to share some of my experiences and questions. I recently came across the Wyze Plug and was really excited to get it set up. However, I’ve run into a bit of a snag where the plug keeps disconnecting. It’s been working perfectly fine for the past week, but now it’s stuck with that rapidly blinking blue light, and the app shows it as offline. I’ve tried the usual troubleshooting steps—unplugging and replugging it in, checking the Wi-Fi connection, and even updating the firmware—but nothing seems to be working. Has anyone else encountered this issue? I’d love to hear if there’s a fix or workaround out there!

On another note, I’ve been experimenting with Sonoff switches and integrating them into Home Assistant. I’ve successfully set up a single Sonoff switch, but I’m having trouble getting the dual gang version to work properly. I’ve reprogrammed it with Tasmota firmware, and everything looks good in the Tasmota config file. However, when I try to control the individual switches in Home Assistant, they just don’t respond. I’ve followed the MQTT setup guide, but I must be missing something. Any advice from more experienced users would be super helpful!

Lastly, I’ve been exploring the Mirror app to create a virtual switch setup for my HomeKit integration. I have an older hub that I’m using for this project, and I want to mirror a switch from a newer hub. I’ve heard that creating two mirrors, one for each direction, might work, but I’m not entirely sure how to set this up without causing any conflicts. If anyone has successfully used the Mirror app for similar purposes, I’d love to hear about your setup and any tips you might have.

Overall, I’m really enjoying the process of building out my smart home, but these little hiccups can be a bit frustrating. I’m hopeful that by sharing my experiences and questions, I can learn from the community and maybe even help someone else along the way. Thanks in advance for any insights or advice you can offer!
