Hey everyone, I’ve been diving into the world of Wyze plugs lately and I must say, they’ve been working perfectly for me. I’ve got two plugs set up—let’s call them Light 1 and Light 2—and they’re both connected to the Wyze app and Alexa. It’s been a breeze controlling them through voice commands, which is super convenient.
But here’s where I’m curious—can I group these two plugs together and name the group something like “Both Lights”? I’m hoping Alexa would recognize this group, but I’m not entirely sure how that would work. Also, if I create this group, would Light 1 and Light 2 still work individually? I’d hate to lose the ability to control them separately.
Another thing I’m pondering is scheduling. If I set up different on/off schedules for Light 1 and Light 2 in the Wyze app, would that interfere with any schedule I might have for the group “Both Lights”? And what about vacation mode? Could I have each light on a different vacation schedule while still having the group operational?
I’m really excited about the possibilities here, but I want to make sure I’m not missing anything. Any insights or tips from the community would be greatly appreciated! Thanks in advance for your help.
