Hi everyone, I’m diving into the world of Z-Wave command support in UI-5 and I’m curious to learn more about how others have tackled this. I recently discovered that Z-Wave supports various operation modes beyond the standard off, heat, cool, and auto, as well as fan speed control. This opens up a lot of possibilities for customization, but I’m a bit stuck on how to implement these commands in the UI using Luup.
For example, I know that Luup supports modes like Auto, ContinuousOn, and PeriodicOn for fan speed control, but I’m wondering how to define more granular settings like FanLow, FanMed, and FanHigh. Has anyone successfully integrated these into their UI? Any tips or resources would be incredibly helpful!
I’m also curious if others have encountered similar challenges when trying to expand Z-Wave command support and how they overcame them. I’m really excited about the potential here, and I’m hopeful the community can shed some light on this. Thanks in advance for your insights and experiences!
