Hello fellow smart home enthusiasts! I’ve been diving into the world of Z-Wave integration and thermostat migration lately, and I thought I’d share my experiences and some questions I have along the way. 
First off, I recently transitioned from using the Honeywell Prestige IAQ system to a newer Z-Wave setup. The two-wire thermostat and its sensors were reliable, but I’m excited to explore the flexibility and expanded capabilities that Z-Wave offers. However, I’m running into a bit of a snag with one of my Z-Wave switches. It consistently turns off but won’t turn back on using the state view control. I’ve checked the logs and noticed some timeout errors, which is puzzling since the network has been running smoothly overnight. Any insights or troubleshooting tips would be greatly appreciated! 
On the thermostat front, I’m curious about monitoring cooling modes and tracking how long my system stays in ‘ON’ or ‘Auto’ mode throughout the day. I have multiple thermostats in my vacation home, and ensuring they operate efficiently without shutting off due to open doors is crucial. Is there a way to log this data without it becoming too cumbersome? 
Another topic I’m exploring is the use of remote sensors with my thermostat. I have a server in a lockbox and a home entertainment system in a cabinet, both of which generate heat. I’m considering using the ADC Smart Thermostat to monitor their temperatures and set alerts if they exceed a certain threshold. However, I’m not entirely sure how to configure the thermostat to focus solely on these areas without affecting the main living spaces. Any advice on isolating sensor zones would be fantastic! 
Lastly, I’m also looking into setting up a motion lighting rule in my bathroom. The idea is to have the lights dim to a certain level when motion is detected, but if someone manually adjusts the brightness, it should stay that way until it turns off after a delay. I’ve tried setting this up with the Rule Machine, but the delays aren’t working as expected. Has anyone else encountered this issue or found a workaround?
