Exploring Z-Wave Plus Compatibility in Hubitat

I’ve recently started migrating my smart home devices from SmartThings to Hubitat, focusing primarily on Z-Wave Plus devices. While the process has been smooth so far, I’ve been wondering about ensuring all my devices are indeed using Z-Wave Plus and not the older Z-Wave protocol. From what I understand, once a Z-Wave device is added to a Z-Wave Plus mesh, the entire mesh might downgrade to Z-Wave, but I’m not entirely sure if this is accurate.

I’d love to hear from others who have successfully transitioned to Hubitat and whether they’ve encountered similar concerns. Is there a reliable way to verify if a device is leveraging Z-Wave Plus? Also, how does Hubitat handle a Z-Wave device within a Z-Wave Plus mesh? Any insights or experiences would be incredibly helpful!

It’s fascinating to see how different protocols interact and ensure optimal performance. I’m curious to know if others have faced similar questions or if there are best practices for maintaining a seamless Z-Wave Plus environment in Hubitat. Thanks in advance for any advice or tips you can share!
