Exploring Zigbee Compatibility and Seeking Community Insights

Hello everyone, I’ve been diving into the world of Zigbee devices lately and have a burning question I’d love to get your thoughts on. I recently purchased some Zigbee scene switches from Tuya and paired them with my SmartThings V3 hub. At first, I was under the impression that all Zigbee devices should work seamlessly with any Zigbee hub, much like Wi-Fi devices. However, I quickly realized that might not be the case. Now I’m a bit stuck and could really use some advice from the community.

I’ve read through some forums and guides, but the information seems a bit scattered. I’d love to know if I need to stick with Tuya-branded hubs for their devices or if there’s a way to make them work with my current setup. Have any of you had similar experiences or found a workaround? I’d appreciate any tips or insights you can share!

While I’m at it, I’ve also noticed some other interesting posts around the forum. For instance, someone mentioned issues with cameras going offline and another thread about the challenges of low-power modes in Nordic devices. It’s fascinating to see the variety of problems people are tackling and the creative solutions they come up with. I’d love to hear more about how others troubleshoot and resolve these kinds of issues.

If anyone has tips on best practices for managing multiple smart devices or integrating different brands, I’d be all ears. It’s a learning journey, and every bit of advice helps. Thanks in advance for your wisdom and support!

Cheers,
Alex
