Exploring Zigbee/Zwave Buttons for Wall Switch Replacement

Hi everyone, I’m in the process of building a home office extension and have been thinking about completely replacing traditional wall switches with Zigbee/Zwave buttons. The setup is entirely new, so I’m considering using contactors for both sockets and ceiling lights. My main concerns are the reliability of these buttons and any potential maintenance issues that might arise. I’ve heard great things about the technology, but I’m curious if anyone here has firsthand experience or tips to share.

I’m particularly interested in how these buttons hold up over time and if there are any hidden challenges, like compatibility issues or unexpected maintenance needs. Any anecdotes or recommendations would be incredibly helpful as I plan this project. Thanks in advance for your insights!
