Hey everyone, I wanted to share some experiences and seek advice on two topics that have been on my mind lately. First, I’ve been trying to extend the range of my SmartThings hub. I have several devices connected, but some are out of range, and I’m curious if adding a second hub would help extend coverage or if I need to set up a mesh network instead. Any insights or recommendations would be greatly appreciated!
Second, I’ve been really impressed with my Wyze Cam 3 units. They’ve been fantastic for monitoring different areas of my home. However, I’ve noticed an issue where the front yard camera only shows events from the front door, and the other camera doesn’t display any events at all—it just shows a slider. This is frustrating, especially since I live in an area with some safety concerns. I’d love to hear if anyone else has experienced this or has a workaround.
Lastly, I wanted to share a quick tip for anyone setting up motion sensors. I’ve found that pairing my SmartThings Multi Sensor with a doorbell button has been a great way to enhance security. It allows me to monitor activity without needing to replace existing hardware.
