Hello all, I’m in the process of setting up my new forever home and decided to dive into Hubitat. It’s been an exciting journey so far, but I’m currently tackling the exterior lighting setup. I’ve got 13 fixtures controlled by 9 switches across 6 rooms, and while I think I understand how to set this up with smart switches and day/night modes, I’m looking to take it a step further.
I want the lights to come on not just during nighttime but also on overcast or stormy days when natural light is scarce. To achieve this, I need an exterior light sensor. I’ve heard great things about some brands, but I’m not entirely sure which one would be the best fit for my setup. Ideally, I’d like something that allows me to control the trigger light level and maybe even pair it with a motion sensor for added functionality.
Has anyone here had experience with exterior light sensors? Any recommendations or tips would be greatly appreciated! I’m eager to get this sorted out and make my home as smart and efficient as possible. Thanks in advance for your help!
