Having the ability to create an S-Curve for light dimming which will make the light have a premium feel to it. Please implement it ASAP!

+1 to this. S-curve dimming would make transitions feel way more natural and less abrupt, especially in the evening. Definitely adds that premium touch. Hope this gets implemented!

To be honest, we have tried the S-Curve dimming effect, hoping to make the beginning and end stages of brightness changes smoother. The actual test results showed that the overall change effect of the S-curve was not smooth, especially when the gradual light on/off time was set to be relatively short. We will continue to conduct more tests, and thank you again for your suggestions.

It would still be super nice to have for longer duration to be allowed. If testing concluded to be not the best for users then it’s all good. I just miss the super smooth dimming of the old incandescent light bulbs. If you could replicate that it would be wonderful.
Do you guys plan to bring a dimming curve to the T1 light strip or other lighting fixtures?
Hahaha, I completely understand, the dimming effect of incandescent bulbs is very comfortable. Although many companies do not prioritize better dimming effects as an important feature to develop, Aqara will continue to strive for it.The dimming curve, as a software feature, also has relatively high requirements for hardware, and it might not be supported on older devices. We will ensure to prioritize the introduction of this feature in our future new products.

It’s already crazy that Aqara even thought of dimming curves. Yea I figured it’s hardware limitations of “cost effective” LEDs. Better hardware means more cost which means more people won’t buy it. Got to balance cost but make up for it with software. Understandable. But still better than Philips hue bulbs 
. Govee lights are good but don’t have zigbee. No other company is on par with the speed and reliability of Aqara devices.
One issue tho is when my alarm triggers a scene that triggers all the aqara lights to flash red and blue they don’t flash in sync. Do you know what causes that? I already have a M3 hub which is the best at the moment.
