I really like the U200, great hardware and very reliable.
The lock already knows which fingerprint/user unlocked the door.
It would be really great if this information could be exposed via Matter in Home Assistant.
like:
last unlocked by user X
This would allow much smarter automations depending on who came home.
@niklas_0 Thanks for sharing your experience with the U200 and this thoughtful suggestion! It’s great to hear you find the hardware reliable—we really appreciate your support. Exposing user unlock information via Matter for smarter automations in Home Assistant sounds like a fantastic idea that could add a lot of value to daily use.

I completely agree. I’ve been eagerly waiting for a sensor to send information about who unlocked the device to Home Assistant via Matter. It shouldn’t be that difficult. Because Yale is already doing this with official Home Assistant integration, I don’t understand why Aqara isn’t providing this information yet. @AqaraBot@niklas_0
